The Basics: This is the second Aficionado release planned to come from Panini on the heels of a previously teased NBA release. The base set will include Artist’s Proof and First Kick parallels — APs will be found in Red (/99), Bronze (/49) and Gold (1/1) versions, while the First Kick cards are one per case. … Among the inserts will be Global Reach that will also have AP parallels, and Power Surge which will be paralleled as well. Forza! inserts will be found one per case with 10 cards in that set focusing on “lethal offensive players in the game.” Also in play are Heroes, Magic Numbers, Power Surge, Craftwork and Meteor. … Autographs will include Endorsements, International Ink and First Impressions — all autographs will be limited to no more than 149 copies and there will be AP parallels there as well. For memorabilia collectors, there will be Authentics cards with single, dual and prime versions. … Boxes carry a suggested retail price of $120 and will include five inserts and 10 parallels atop of the base cards and hits. … Among the signers here will include Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr., Dele Alli, Renato Sanches, Pele and Diego Maradona to name a few, while memorabilia cards will include Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata among others.

Update (March 31): More info from Panini as follows … There will be no redemptions or Rewards points in this product and there will be an auto from one of these 10 players in every case: Andres Iniesta, Christian Pulisic, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Neymar Jr., Andy Cole, Diego Maradona, Ian Wright, Pele and Sir Bobby Charlton. … There will be 11 first-time signers with the most-notables being Giovani dos Santos, Leonardo Bonucci, Cole and Ian Wright.
