Autographs/Memorabilia: 1
Shirt Relics (1)
– Fandango

What’s Buzz-worthy: Want a hobby box of this one? Good luck. They’ve nearly dried up while retail blaster boxes remain much more easily available. Why? The possibility for autographs in this one — and there’s a stacked lineup that includes the only ink for notable women’s star Paige (a card that should be more important in the near future), along with A.J. Lee, Bray Wyatt, Eden, Emma, John Cena, Seth Rollins, George “The Animal” Steele, Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, Ric Flair and Bret “Hitman” Hart to name a few. Sure, they’re stickers but it’s a great roster — one that dramatically dwarfs the Chromed version. The drawback? Ink isn’t in every box just like this one — and that makes these boxes painful if you get Fandangoed with your Relic and a manufactured Relic atop that. (It hurt.) The design here is strong vs. previous years of the flagship and the parallels are pretty strong here (though the subject selection in this box was not good). The inserts all show variations on a theme — they’re based on common crowd chants — and are nice photo-wise but pretty mundane in terms of how the break feels. This box wasn’t great but the overall product isn’t bad at all. Pretty much all other WWE brands from the last few years can be found — even Undisputed — but not this one when it comes to hobby wax.
