Fanatics Authentic has a few unique autographs available now that come with no strings attached.
Nevermind, that won’t work … there are actually six.
A series of autographed guitars — items that are officially licensed musical instruments on their own — have been enhanced with autographs that offer a colorful higher-end option for a sports fan who’s big on music, too.
Chicago Cubs stars Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo have signed on by signing some of the colorful creations, while NFL stars Russell Wilson, Adrian Peterson and Derek Carr also have signed for Fanatics. A pair of teams — the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Penguins — have had a number of players sign on for their guitars while two members of the Golden State Warriors, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson signed on, too.
Those team-signed ones? They have some star power, too, as the Patriots’ one — a piece limited to only 12 copies — is signed by Tom Brady, LeGarrette Blount, Dont’a Hightower, Stephen Gostokowski, Dion Lewis, Rob Ninkovich, Martellus Bennett and Super Bowl LI star James White. The Penguins’ signers include Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Matt Murray, Nick Bonino, Matt Cullen, Bryan Rust, Olli Maatta, Pascal Dupuis, Eric Fehr, Ben Lovejoy, Ian Cole and Justin Schultz to name a few.
Carr’s checks in as the cheapest at $999.99, while most are between $1,299 and $1,499 though the team-signed pieces are anywhere from $1,999 to $3,499. (No price yet on Bryant as it was merely teased by the company today.)
If these aren’t your thing, there are three options of a more traditional type — signed photos — for KISS’ Tommy Thayer, Wayne’s World‘s Tia Carrere and former WWE star Jeff Jarrett, who showed Al Snow how a guitar can be played in a different way.
