What’s Buzz-worthy: This is the first Rocky trading card set produced by Topps for the second film in the franchise that was established after the out-of-nowhere arrival that was the original film in 1976. This sequel-focused set includes 99 cards with standard and puzzle backs along with a set of 22 stickers. That’s it. Centering on these narrow-bordered cards was an issue but they were otherwise pretty clean for cards from the era. You can find sets relatively cheap — and graded singles for less than $10 — and that is a good recipe for a fun collecting challenge. This is a simple set but one that still holds up all these years later.
