What’s Buzz-worthy: Wow, did this box deliver. The biggie here is the black-backed action variation of Molina and a Cardinals fan would have been extra wowed with a Target-only Red parallel also of their All-Star catcher to go with that. Atop that, there were some top names among Chrome cards in this Hot Box that included a Purple Refractor in each pack and a Yu Darvish standard Chrome — and the three standard inserts weren’t too shabby, either. This is perhaps my least-favorite Heritage release of the 1960s sets, but the box delivered well — even better for a price lower than original release ($19.99). That’s an added plus since these boxes aren’t exactly readily available, either. If you’re a Hot Box fan, stay tuned today — there will be another thanks to some dumb luck for this collector.
