What’s Buzz-worthy: As said in a previous hobby box break here, the first series of the 2017 Topps WWE set is here with a number of cardboard newcomers via referees, NXT stars and labeled Rookie Cards of stars who are new to the top WWE ranks. Also new here are cards of a few WWE Legends who have never had cards before along with some of the biggest ink possible. This particular box over-delivered big-time with an autographed Relic — one in 108 boxes — in the bonus pack. The standard autos aren’t to be found in these boxes based on the odds panel, just autographed versions of various Relics. That’s a bummer if you’re chasing Undertaker or Goldberg but this box shows that ink can be found. This box included a Daniel Bryan Tribute insert (Walmart-only), while retail boxes also can be found with John Cena or Undertaker cards. Also possible here? Some of the photo variations, which are one per hobby case but also have been spotted in retail blasters and hanger boxes.
