What’s Buzz-worthy: This retail release within the Court Kings canon is one that focuses on nothing but rookies and that’s where its successes or failures are held. (Good rookies are a plus. Bad rookies are bummers.) Among the players found here are Julius Randle, Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid, Jusuf Nurkic, Doug McDermott, Marcus Smart, Zach LaVine, Jabari Parker, Jordan Clarkson and Dante Exum. There are autos and memorabilia for many of those players — and more — in this one, which is a colorful and energetic release that’s actually very simple. That also helps make this an appealing rip to build a master set now given its lower prices than when released. It’s a simple rip but one that could pay off well if you land the right guy. If you didn’t dig in when it was released, it might be worth a look now if you’re an interested NBA collector.
