What’s Buzz-worthy: Want a shot at some Heritage hobby wax on the cheap? These Value Boxes offer just that as there are a pair of hobby packs along with some flagship retail packs that offer names and plenty of inserts. The ’63 version of Heritage isn’t a bad release but getting only two packs will be hit and miss. The base cards in both of the sets here were a bit dry in this particular box but the inserts delivered pretty well. Autographs and Relics are available in both of these and you get a bonus card of either Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays or Ken Griffey Jr. along with a Golden Giveaway code card that could have gotten you something more back then (long-expired now). These boxes are very affordable, so if you buy in bulk you could land some interesting stuff — rare variations, autographs, Relics — and some of these boxes made for retail have over-delivered pretty well in the past.
