What’s Buzz-worthy: These boxes were originally released at retail with the draw of a acetate Rookie Card in every one and this one delivered well with Porzingis and a standard RC of Devin Booker, who has emerged as a prime player with 22.1 ppg (and a 70-point night) this season. … The design here is super simple with a full-bleed photo with a simple foil overlay. The backs have a super-simple and effective infographic back with just basics displayed with a By The Numbers approach. It’s so simple that it’s solid — and one this collector wishes was used more. You don’t get a lot of cards in these but there is potential for autographs and memorabilia in these boxes atop the acetate RCs. These might be a fun one to rip for an NBA collector (veteran or beginner) considering the price — and cases include a hefty 36 boxes if you like safety in numbers.
