What’s Buzz-worthy: This box over-delivered on the parallels and included one auto (Leno) that’s sold for about half of the box price so it’s not bad. These cards are priced a bit lower on the product spectrum but carry a relatively high-end feel. Each six-pack mini box includes one auto so it’s even more accessible than other brands because of this. The base set is a meaty 200 cards — a relative challenge considering you only get about 60 cards in a full box — and it’s one that’s clean and crisp. Photos are framed by a foil frame so you’ll know when a card is off-center but otherwise it’s a pretty solid release aesthetically. Buzz isn’t a big soccer fan but recognized several of the names among the inserts here but not as much in the base set. Despite that, this still felt like a decent box with really only the lack of variety and a want for more inserts being the only reasons this wasn’t an A when it comes to the fun factor. There have been a number of auto cards pulled from these boxes that have sold for $100 or more so that’s another sign that there’s some fun to be had here if you’re a fan of the global game.
