What’s buzz-worthy: Leaf’s next release will be a “product that will change the industry landscape” and “will set the standard for aesthetic beauty and legendary content by which all products will be measured.”
The Basics: Base cards will include pearls embedded into the cards with each card numbered to no more than 10 copies and with five color parallels and a gold 1/1 pearl, too. … Memorabilia cards will be found for notables from the Big Four sports as well as icons from other sports. Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali, Wilt Chamberlain, Pele, Ted Williams, Michael Jordan, Mickey Mantle, Gordie Howe, Rickey Henderson Larry Bird, Jim Brown, Kobe Bryant, Ken Griffey Jr. and many others of note will be found inside these boxes — and in some cases found in the same card. … There are also some autograph cards to come — some are shown here before the signatures are added. All cards in the product will be limited to no more than 10 copies with autographs having Green and Gold 1/1s. Also in the mix as a late addition will be Shohei Ohtani pearl signatures cards. There will be signatures, Champions Signatures, Paragon Signatures, History Book Cut Signatures and Pearl Cuts as well as Pearls of Wisdom cards that have inscriptions. … Memorabilia card sets will include Pearlescent Patches, The Year In Sports and Pearl cards with four six and eight stars.
