The Basics: Collectors can expect to find 48 rookies in every box — 24 Rated Rookies and 24 other rookies — as well as 40 inserts and parallels. New for this year will be Ground Force inserts, Up Tempo, Salute to Service and Highlights, while memorabilia cards will have prime and tag parallels as part of the Rookie Phenom Jersey Autos set, which also will have autographs. … The base set will consist of 400 cards with 50 of those being Rated Rookies and 50 of those being standard rookies. … Also in the mix are All-time Gridiron Kings autos and Threads memorabilia inserts. … Boxes carry a suggested retail price of $72 ($2.99 per pack). (Note: Rookie mocks here show last year’s rookie class.)
Update: Panini has announced that there will be 401-card factory sets made for this one that will ship in mid-September. They will carry a suggested retail price of $49.99. There will be eight sets per case.
