The Basics: The first cards of NBA rookies will be found here with three formats at retail — 24-pack boxes, blaster boxes and fat packs. Standard boxes ($2.49 per eight-card pack suggested retail price) will come in 20-box cases. Meanwhile fat packs (12 per box) will be $4.99 and include 30 cards. Overall, there will be Great SIGnificance autographs of legends, rookies and veterans as well as a 10-card set focusing on the career of Kobe Bryant. Also in play will be Shaquille O’Neal 2K Sports cards that will be short-printed while more standard inserts will be Faces of the Future, Class of 2017, Swat Team, Zero Gravity as well as Lights, Camera, Action. Parallels will include Blue Checkerboard (/75) and Red Checkerboard (/15) and Gold Great SIGnificance autos (/10). … Blasters will include Rise N Shine Memorabilia, which also will have Prime parallels (/25 max) and Rookie Remembrance Prime (/25 max). … Jumbo packs will have Teal Explosion cards and Orange Explosion cards (/75).
Hobby Update: Hobby packs will carry a suggested retail price of $3 and there will be 24 inserts per box (one per pack). These will include hobby-exclusive Hot Signatures and Red Hot Signatures (/25) and also cards of each type for rookies, too. Also in the mix will be Road to the Finals inserts, documenting the playoff run of the NBA champion Golden State Warriors and other teams. A Kevin Durant Finals MVP card will be limited to only 99 copies. Other hobby-only inserts will include We Got Next, Back Stage Pass, Special Delivery, Courtside and Team Leaders. Each of these sets will have Artist Proof (/25) and Gold (/10) parallels. The basic cards will include all notables from this year’s NBA Draft with Gold parallels.

What’s buzz-worthy: The retro but new Donruss feel hits the hardwood once again with this one that promises a meaty base set, 50 Rated Rookies and plenty more.
The Basics: There will be three retail pack formats for this one — standard box, blaster box and jumbo packs. … Generally, there will be Signature Series and Jersey Series — a pair of 50-card sets — potentially only found at retail along with inserts that include Retro Series, All Clear for Takeoff, Swishful Thinking and The Champ Is Here. Retail parallels will include Holo Green Laser (/99), Holo Yellow Laser (/25), Signature Series Gold (/10) and Jersey Series Prime (/10). … Blasters will have 11 eight-card packs with exclusive here being Holo Orange Laser and Holo Purple Laser (/15), Court Kings Press Proof Orange (/99), Rookie Kings Press Proof Orange (/99) and Hall Kings Press Proof Orange (/99). … The 30-card jumbo packs (12 per box) will include a few exclusives as well — Laser Green and Yellow, Laser Red and Blue (/15), and Press Proof Blue variations for all inserts (/125).
Hobby Update: Hobby packs also will carry a suggested retail price of $3 and there will be 24 inserts per box (one per pack). Among the autographs will be Dominators Signatures for 40 players with all cards limited to no more than 40 copies. These also will have Gold (/10) and 1/1 Black parallels. Joining them will be Rookie Dominators Signatures for 30 players and Next Day Autos with images and autos from the annual rookie photo shoot (Fultz in gallery). There will be 50 Rated Rookies with a number of parallels including Black and Gold Press Proofs. Autographed memorabilia cards will include Rooie Materials Signatures (/75) with prime versions (/10). … Among the Dominators signers will be Kyrie Irving, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal and Larry Bird.
