We’re a week or so away from the MLB All-Star Game and Topps will have plenty of cardboard for baseball fans to chase that commemorates The Midsummer Classic.
Topps Now will be unleashing All-Star cardboard today — team sets for the squads with autographs potentially in the mix — and it will have cards for fans in Miami for the game and the All-Star FanFest, which begins on Thursday.
Collectors who buy a factory set of 2017 Topps at the event can land one of six commemorative patch cards — Ichiro Suzuki, Miguel Cabrera, Giancarlo Stanton, Kris Bryant, Mike Trout and Bryce Harper are featured — while six players also will be found on cards for a wrapper redemption program at the event. Those who open three sealed packs of a 2017 Topps MLB product (excluding stickers) at the company’s booth will receive the set. You can see both of these sets in a gallery below.
Other options for those at the event will include customized cards, Topps Bunt demos, Pack Wars for prizes and the Masterpass Deck where those who opt in can get a commemorative All-Star card and check out MLB alumni meet-and-greets.
Topps Now update: The autographed American League team sets include one autograph for $199 along with cards for the nine starters and there will be just four signers — Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, Carlos Correa and George Springer. The National League sets will only have three signers — Bryce Harper, Charlie Blackmon and Buster Posey in its sets. Autographs will be signed on-card and numbered to 99, 49, 25, 10 and one copy.
The unsigned sets (nine cards per) will cost $29.99 — and they are only available via Topps.com for the next eight days. You can see them in the gallery below.
