The Basics: Panini promises “more on-card rookie patch autographs than ever” in this one with Rookie Auto Patch, Immaculate Quad Auto Materials Rookie, Rookie Auto Premium Patch and Immaculate Signatures Patches Rookies in the lineup. There will be three parallels per card for the rookies with those numbered to no more than 49 copies, while jumbo memorabilia cards will have nameplates, fielding gloves and batting gloves in the mix. Non-rookie big names will be found on memorabilia cards in Shadowbox Materials cards — a set that “will feature current [players], veterans and legends like never before” — Immaculate Bats (with two parallel types) and Immaculate Legends, which also will have parallels capped at no more than 10 copies. … There also will be new autograph sets — a lineup that includes Immaculate Carbon Signatures, Immaculate Bats, Immaculate Home Plate Signatures, Tweed Weave and Parchment Signatures with a number of textures. Also in play will be “more jumbo prime material than ever before” and dual on-card autos. These boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $250.
