Who’s on the 2017 Topps Allen & Ginter checklist? It’s here …

We’re just a week away from the arrival of 2017 Topps Allen & Ginter, the newest installment of the retro-styled baseball card set that includes some of the biggest surprises on cardboard each and every year.

Let’s name-drop some of the people with autographs on the checklist …

The biggest draw to some people are the non-baseball mini autos and among them are … the creator of The Wave, Krazy George, Slipknot’s Chris Fehn, Brooke Hogan, Eric LeGrand, Floyd Mayweather, Freddie Prinze Jr., Jay Glazer, Jayson Stark, Ken Rosenthal, Laurie Hernandez, Mike Jaspersen, Nick Jonas, Paul Finebaum, Peter Rosenberg, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Stephen A. Smith, Sage Steele, Tom Arnold, Tom Rinaldi, Norman Dale from Hoosiers (aka Gene Hackman), MySpace founder Tom Anderson, Beer mile world record-holder Corey Bellemore and William Shatner among others.

Next up? Cut autographs … among them are Arnold Palmer, Bing Crosby, Barack Obama, Clark Gable, Dean Martin, Fred Astaire, Jimmy Carter, Jesse Owens, Lou Costello, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and Willie Nelson for celebs. Cuts for players? Jackie Robinson, Roger Maris, Ted Williams and more.

How about autographed Relic books? Andrew Benintendi, Aaron Judge, Alex Bregman, Bryce Harper, Derek Jeter, Dansby Swanson, Ichiro Suzuki, Kris Bryant, Ken Griffey Jr., Mike Trout and Shatner. (Is that a Trek Relic?)

Among those paired on dual book Relics? Bryant and Anthony Rizzo, Trout & Bryant, Suzuki and Griffey, Cal Ripken Jr. and Jeter among others.

And the beloved mini autos? Benintendi, Bregman, Judge, Harper, Clayton Kershaw, Jeter, Hank Aaron, Suzuki, Bryant, Trout, Sandy Koufax, Yoan Moncada and many others. Appearing on full-size autos? Cody Bellinger, Christian Arroyo and Ian Happ.

Among the non-autograph surprises in this one? A set of cards for sport fish and fishing lures (Ted Williams would be proud), revolutionary battles, horse breeds, a set of cards for memorable dances, a set of cards for historically significant books and a set for magicians and illusionists.
