After resolving an apparent autopen problem with a small number of Panini Prizm cards, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott sat down with Panini America this week for a new project.
Signing a bunch of his football cards.
According to the company, Prescott signed the “vast majority of his remaining 2016 trading cards as well as cards for the company’s upcoming 2017 Pantheon football” during the session. The only ones not signed? The 2016 Prizm cards that are being re-made now and will arrive with an extra hologram affixed.
The signed cards from 2016 National Treasures, Select, Donruss Optic, Origins, Limited, Unparalleled and more will begin shipping to collectors next week and a gallery of those highlights is below.
Earlier today, we reported right here that collectors from the Blowout Forum have reported receiving 1,000 Panini Rewards points as a bonus atop their forthcoming Prizm cards. According to one company rep, those collectors who received or will re-receive Prizm cards that had been autopenned, recalled and re-signed will receive the bonus.
Update (Sept. 12): He has signed his remade Prizm cards.
