What’s Buzz-worthy: At a quick glance, this box was a simple one but nothing flashy. Thanks to one insert card it’s an above average box. The Beam Team card here has gold foil and that’s a card found only one in every 192 packs (every other blaster case). That’s substantially harder to pull than a one-in-115 autograph. New this year are Chrome cards — none found here — while a successful rookie crop on cardboard also was basically nowhere to be found. Two of the parallels here are of big names and the inserts aren’t bad but a simple foil-color change just doesn’t feel like it’s enough to stand out in the box. (The odds probably won’t help its value over the long-term, either.) Stadium Club is a 1990s-styled retro product — a collector-focused brand that’s not really about the hits but everything else. Buzz will break a hobby box here soon so we’ll leave that one to say more.
