What’s Buzz-worthy: This retro-styled product was once again a hit-per-pack retail release and it’s one that, as long as you like the 1956 Topps football design, should resonate well with you. (This collector likes Heritage most times but this design not that much.) This product is built with Rookie Cards in mind as 67 of the 100 cards are NFL newcomers and the rest are notables. This pack included seven RCs as well as an auto and parallel also of rookie. … There are 79 different signers in this one and among them are some pretty solid names — Jameis Winston, Amari Cooper, Marcus Mariota, Terry Bradshaw, Andrew Luck, Eddie Lacy, Odell Beckham Jr. Peyton Manning, Steve Young, Emmitt Smith, Bo Jackson, Brett Favre, Roger Staubach, Eli Manning, Lawrence Taylor, John Elway, Barry Sanders, Dan Marino, Jerry Rice, Todd Gurley and Russell Wilson. The catch? Most, if not all, of these guys are short-printed so you’ll find rookies in your packs often. Even still, this might be a fun set to build as you chase some notable ink on a cleanly printed retro-styled set. Oh and there are other potential finds in these packs, too. Printing plates (one in 105) and auto parallels — Black (1:13), Gold (1:105) and Red (1:521) — this one has its highlights for sure and it’s not that pricey, either.
