What’s Buzz-worthy: These types of high-end boxes are a high-risk, high-reward scenario every time you rip them, but this one turned out pretty nice with the presence of a few low-numbered cards and a visually impassive 1/1 auto logo booklet. The Larson auto patch is actually one of several cards like it with this one focusing on the logo of one of his associate sponsors, McDonald’s, which appears on the right sleeve (cropped off in this card’s photo) of his firesuit. Another highlight here would be the card with the highest print run in the box — an autograph of legendary owner Richard Childress — and then three cards limited to only five copies. There are some young names in this box, which has its benefits and drawbacks, but this box felt like a good rip thanks to the booklet. Would I do another? Probably, since the boxes aren’t as pricey as they had been and there are all of the big names you’d expect to see here in the brand that is the biggest high-end release from Panini America’s rookie season with NASCAR.
