What’s Buzz-worthy: Buzz picked this one up recently when it was on sale, hoping for some fun and raw content. It was there, but it also was a bit of a smackdown. Sure, I knew there were no autographs in the one — not that big of a deal for the price — but unless you’re a fan of The Usos you might not be a fan of the hits found here. The manufactured Relics aren’t ideal but of the nine hits that weren’t manurelics four of them were of the Smackdown tag champs. It’s a good thing that the base set is one of the best WWE sets ever made with the strong photography of past and present stars perfectly working here along with a simple array of inserts and parallels. That alone kept this case from being a bummer. Had these boxes included occasional signed Relics — a move that Topps has turned to this year — it might be an untouchable case and a perfect buy. This one did deliver very well in terms of big names on rarer cards — see the three base parallels and some of the manufactured Relics — but there was also the sting of the only NXT Relic (big potential!) being the worst possible name. It happens. This was a fun rip but it’s just not supposed to Uso so often. I’ll be back for one more of this one if the price dips again — this is a quality product that offers a comprehensive look at the WWE’s heritage.

Product Grade: A (Previously gave it a B+ … it’s better than that.)
Case Grade:
B+ (So many Usos hurt, but other inclusions are strong.)
Fun Grade: A
