WWE fans will have more to watch for other than NXT next Wednesday night.
That’s the day that 2017 Topps Heritage arrives in hobby shops and it will include a retro-styled re-do on the 1987 Topps baseball design but with the stars of professional wrestling.
The checklist for this one arrived today in advance of its arrival next week with one autograph and a second hit in every hobby box.
Oldschool wrestling fans might be surprised to see a dual autograph of Bruno Sammartino and Larry Zbyszko on the checklist. (Trivia time: They famously battled in a steel cage during an event held at Shea Stadium in New York in 1980. On the undercard? Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant — years before WrestleMania III.) Other notables signing here include Alexa Bliss, Goldberg, Sting, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Finn Balor, Sasha Banks, Brock Lesnar and Undertaker to name a few.
