If you hadn’t noticed, there are a number of boxes with discounted prices this weekend and for the next week or so over on the mothership and they were dramatic enough that Buzz had to sit down and ponder the possibilities in many of them.
So much so here’s another of a few “picks” to come in the next few days.
The pick this time? A box of 2014 Panini Select football cards
When you tear into this brand, which was high-end at the time, you’ll find a pair of mini boxes each with two autos or memorabilia cards — four total per box. There’s a meaty Prizm rainbow with all of them numbered — also four per box — along with four Rookie Cards. Autographs and memorabilia cards are parallel heavy here and include a number of premium swatches with patches and logos. The rookie crop ain’t bad, either, with the likes of Derek Carr and Odell Beckham Jr., while the veteran and retired/Hall of Famer auto-memorabilia crop isn’t shabby, either. At this price, it’s worth a try.
