What’s Buzz-worthy: As said in a previous break here, with Topps Chrome already hot this year thanks to the arrival of Chrome autos of Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger among a strong rookie crop, this was a fun surprise when hitting the card aisle. For $35, you get more packs and 10 x-Fractors that are only found in these boxes, which are the size of the Bowman Platinum collector’s box. Hits are not a given in these boxes — a basic rookie auto is one in 100 packs — but this one did include a rarer photo variation, which is actually tougher to pull than ink. (They’re one in 143 packs, while autos are one in 100.) This wasn’t the flashiest box beyond the Dansby Swanson variation but it was still a fun rip for the price. A key rookie X-Fractor will get you a decent amount of your money back (at least in the short-term), while you get a good volume of inserts here, too. If you find this one, rip it. If you can’t you might opt to rip some hobby for some guaranteed ink.
