What’s buzz-worthy: Panini XR arrives as a new football card line that offers a colorful look at the NFL with plenty of autographs and memorabilia.

The Basics: Every box will include one autographed jersey as well as one rookie, veteran or retired auto and one rookie jumbo or triple-swatch card. In addition to the hits, there will be one insert, four parallels, four base cards and two Rookie Cards per box. … Triple and jumbo swatch autos will be limited to no more than 199 copies, while there will be dual and triple auto swatches pairing rookies with greats — those will be limited to just 20 copies. Also in the mix will be Rookie Jumbo Materials, Maximal Materials and Team Trios Materials — these will be limited to 99 copies — while there will be autographed shadowboxes called Luminous Endorsements limited to the same volume. Inserts, parallels and rookies will be limited to no more than 299 copies. Among the Jumbo Materials cards will be Nike logo patches, laundry tags, gloves and NFL shields…. Boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $100.
