What’s Buzz-worthy: Buzz found this one in the discount bin at a big-box store and opted to dig in since the rookie crop was hot last season and I’m a collector who doesn’t mind seeing school colors on rookies’ cards as are found in this early season release. This box wasn’t one of the better ones on most fronts but the cards in this one are clean and crisp with full-bleed images and foil stamping that’s not over-done. The insert volume here also is entertaining and gives you plenty of big names but this one wasn’t that hot on the whole. If you can find these in the bargain bins they’re worth the shot — if not, dig in on some hobby boxes where you’ll find guaranteed hits.
