What’s Buzz-worthy: Panini’s annual memorabilia feast known as Absolute is, without question, one to rip on the hobby side but the blasters apparently can have potential, too. While the box doesn’t indicate a guaranteed hit (last year’s didn’t and I went hitless in a blaster, meaning it was my last for that one), this one included one — and it wasn’t a rookie swatch, either. It was a player-worn (yep, not game-used but that’s better than nothing and better than a rookie) Russell Wilson Air Raid insert. The insert lineup is colorful and has some player variety but there were no RCs and three rookie inserts/parallels in the box. The insert volume is also the same as last year meaning there are a lot of base cards in a box here, giving it a traditional feel. With a hit in a box, it’s worth a look. (I haven’t ripped a second, so I’m admittedly not sure.) If they’re not? Do a hobby pack.

I have seen a ton of blasters without hits on Youtube. You got lucky.
