What’s Buzz-worthy: Why is the box here so not-flashy? Because these were released a bonus to dealers who ordered 2012 Panini Cooperstown to help sell boxes or to give to buyers who weren’t happy with some of the product’s changes when it finally arrived. Every card here is a serial-numbered parallel of the base set with Blue (/499), Red (/399), Green (1/1) and autographs (one in 47 packs) the only possibilities in packs. This box was a basic one with no ink or 1/1s  — that didn’t help this one feel like a bargain — but it’s not a bad rip if you want to try and build the 200-card set for fun. The stock here is sturdy and the printing is crisp and clean so there were no concerns here. It’s not the flashiest kind of wax to rip, but I’d perhaps do another if it was in front of me. (For sure if it they’re cheaper.)
