What’s Buzz-worthy: As said in a past break here, Optic is heavy on Rookie Cards via the Rated Rookies subset and this one delivered well on that front. The re-done 1990 Donruss design is one that works pretty well for being Optichromed, too. Blaster boxes are a decent alternative if you can’t swing the higher price for a hobby box with its guaranteed ink in what might have been the top NFL product of last season. (You can shop all types of Optic wax over on the Blowout mothership.) This box impressed with inserts of the two Super Bowl QBs, a hit that wasn’t a rookie and a run of RCs that includes some notables. Will you always make money on these boxes? Maybe not, but it’s a fun rip when you find the right names.
