What’s Buzz-worthy: On the hobby side, this one is an affordable brand that can deliver pretty well (one auto and one memorabilia card every time) and this box delivered good on the names front but with no hits. … The design here is crisp and simple and the backs are informative and energetic. The 200 standard cards are capped by some retired greats before one-per-pack Rookie Cards cap it to make a 300-card extended set. … The inserts are pretty strong here with plenty of familiar names from the past but without it feeling like a low-end set (though it’s closer to that than high-end). The parallels are simple — based on downs — for both base cards and inserts, while the pennant card is something different (and a nod to earlier Playoff sets) but felt a little out of place. A hobby box should be worth a try — especially at its price now.
