What’s Buzz-worthy: The UFC gets its own Topps Chrome set for the first time and this box shows you how well it can deliver. This one included a Superfractor (one in 74 boxes or one in seven cases) as well as a one-per-case Hot Box Refractor of one of the UFC’s biggest names, Ronda Rousey. The Green Refractor auto is something found every three boxes, while the Museum Collection parallel is every three boxes or so and the Pulsar parallel is one in every six. So this box is far from the norm, though they may deliver well across the board. Atop those, this box delivered as it should with a number of inserts and Refractors and a meaty stack of base cards. About the only drawback here is the look of the base cards — the design is a tad repetitive with relatively tight-cropped action shots — but that’s not a big concern. This one should always pack two autos — a Hot Box includes the third (/20) — while Diamond Boxes will include Diamond Refractors in every pack. The debut of Chrome was worth waiting for — and this box shows how it can deliver very well for you.
