What’s Buzz-worthy: This was a pretty solid box for its Rookie Cards, young stars and inserts — and that gets it a top grade. Could it be topped? Yes, but this one was a good break. … As said in a past break, blaster boxes at Walmart (where this box was found) include Pink parallels and a guaranteed hit. Optic is heavy on Rookie Cards via the Rated Rookies subset and a heavy standard card presence while the re-done 1990 Donruss design is one that works pretty well for being Optichromed. This brand’s Mega Boxes were pricier and included a few extras but you can also find hangers or blaster boxes all over on the Blowout mothership in addition to the hobby boxes, which guarantee ink. The rookie class here is a good one and that’s part of the big chase and this collector still thinks that this brand will be one seen as a landmark release in years to come.
