The Basics: All-Americans, Heisman winners and other stars will be found here with on-card signature inserts (all fewer than 25 copies) that will include Rookie Patch Autographs, Rookie Autographs, Dual Patch Autographs, Patch Autographs, Flawless Team Logo Signatures, Flawless Dual Signatures, Dual Diamond Memorabilia Autographs, Premium Ink and Flawless Team Slogan Signatures. Also in play here will be cut autos — a roundup of 1/1 creations that will include Red Grange, Jim Thorpe, Bobby Layne, Derrick Thomas and “Crazy Legs” Hirsch among others. … RPAs will have conference patches, bowl patches and brand logos among the possibilities. … Gem cards will include diamonds (/20), sapphires (/10), rubies (/15) and emeralds (/5) as well as 1/1 oversized diamonds. … Also in these cases will be Team Slogan Signatures that have famous phrases of the college game inked alongside autos from Peyton Manning, Earl Campbell, Tim Tebow, Mark Ingram, Kirk Cousins, Marcus Mariota and others. … Premium Ink cards will have Emerald (/5) and 1/1 Black versions for some of the biggest names in the history of the game, while Team Gems will add gems into iconic team logos. … There also will be some “hot boxes” where all cards are the same teams — among those schools will be Alabama, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Stanford, Texas and USC. … The boxes carry a suggested retail price of $1,500.
