What’s buzz-worthy: Gypsy Queen returns for another season with some more colorful inclusions such as Home Run Derby sock Relics and some new variations that build upon last year’s mini-free release.

The Basics: The base set is once again 300 cards with a mix of past and present players with parallels that will include missing team names, Indigo (/TBD), Black & White (/50), Red (/10) and 1/1 Black parallels. … Among the other inclusions will be short-prints of retired and all-time greats as well as image variations focusing on Jackie Robinson Day, capless image variations and other surprises not revealed. New here will be Tarot of the Diamond cards, while Fortune Teller minis return with on-card autos. These two inserts will have an Indigo parallel (/TBD) as well as a Black 1/1 version. Jackie Robinson Day cards also will have autographed versions to chase as will the Fortune Tellers inserts. … Other ink will include standard GQ autos along with Indigo, Black & White and 1/1 Black versions along with new Mini Rookie Autos that will have a 1/1 Black version as will the Fortune Tellers. There also will be other autos that will be left as surprises upon arrival. … On the Relic side, there will be Autograph Garments with on-card ink along with auto pack books — a three-panel creation — Pull-up Sock Auto Relics with Home Run Derby socks, Bases Around the League Auto Relics (base pieces this year instead of baseballs). … The Glassworks box-toppers also will be back and those will include Indigo (/TBD), Red (/25), Black (1/1) and autographed versions, too.
Update (retail details): This one will arrive at retail with three formats — eight-pack blaster boxes (16 per case), value packs and 24-pack display boxes. As with past releases, the value packs will include three standard packs (six cards per) along with three Green parallel cards. Also a retail-exclusive will be Green parallel versions of the Fortune Tellers and Tarot of the Diamond minis, which will be numbered to only 99 copies per card.
