What’s Buzz-worthy: The final standard release of Topps Chrome football is one that, at retail, can guarantee a hit in some versions of blaster boxes, a pretty good volume of parallels and a few inserts that focus on what was the 6oth anniversary for Topps and the NFL. This particular box was an average one with few highlights though the 1976 insert is found one in every fourth box. The David Johnson insert is probably the biggest highlight here and the Relic is one of a guy who played seven games as a rookie but has been a practice-squader ever since. (He’s a Bears reserve now.) This was a bargain bin find at a retail chain so that’s why it made its way here — check out a hobby box for a more full Chrome experience.
