What’s Buzz-worthy: Panini America’s Prizm NFL brand is a consistent one and this box mirrors last year’s in many of its inclusions and exactly in its volumes. (We even pulled Tom Brady in the same insert set as a blaster last year.) Thankfully, we’ve trumped last year’s quarterback jersey card of Kevin Hogan with a Mitchell Trubisky. This year’s Prizm is hot — you can find a number of breaks in the NFL forum — and this newest wave of retail boxes just hitting now is one where you can dig in on this popularity and, with some luck, do pretty well. The blasters are the only place to find the memorabilia cards, too. Meanwhile, the stock this year seems very sturdy and clean — reminds me of Select’s stock a few years ago. This box was stacked with QBs and WRs even among the cards not shown, so odds are that you’ll find players of some value or popularity here. It’s worth a rip.
