What’s buzz-worthy: The final Historic Autographs release of the year takes us back to the 1930s with buyback cards and cut autographs paired together in a very limited product.

The Basics: There will be 120 different players found in this one with 30 of them being enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. Of those, 37 players are limited to only five copies per card here with all others limited to no more than 25. Just 86 hand-numbered cases will be made for this one. The buybacks are all from 1933 DeLong, 1934-1936 Diamond Stars as well as 1933 and 1938 Goudey — players’ cards will all be the same across the product. Babe Ruth will have five autos in this one, meaning you have a roughly one in 275 box (one in 17 cases) shot at The Bambino. Others of note include Rogers Hornsby, Mel Ott, Tony Lazzeri, Pie Traynor, Al Simmons, Hank Greenberg, Gabby Hartnett, Moe Berg, Mickey Cochrane and Charlie Gehringer to name a few. The cases are built to deliver at least three Hall of Famers and two short-printed autographs. All cards are PSA/DNA registered as part of this release.

Update (Dec. 5): These will all be BAS authenticated and slabbed after an unanticipated issue, according to the company. It will still arrive on its original release date.
