What’s Buzz-worthy: The Walking Dead has delivered very well for this box-buster at retail — specifically Walmart blaster boxes — and this one was right along with others ripped here this year. This Relic is one found in every 124 boxes, while the Green base parallel is one in every 140 packs (14 boxes) and the Brown Adversaries card is one un ever 293 packs (every 30th box) — that’s a crazy confluence there … and the two basic parallels were in the same pack. The Relic is one that is only found in Walmart blasters — one of seven standard and seven autographed Relics — and those are far from alone as exclusives. The Allegiances inserts are also only found in these boxes per the checklist but are relatively standard stuff. The main set and insert lineup is very similar in both what’s in the product and comes in a box compared to past sets but with this one showing how the characters have evolved through all of the seasons of the hit series. This is a very simple release but it’s one where the blasters can deliver very well. (I’ll be ripping another in the Buzz 12 in 12 marathon next week.) This wasn’t quite Bullet Relic cool, but it was an impressive and a top-grade box if you ask me.

I thought I’d seen everything, until the manufactured bat relic. What’s it a relic of, exactly? They need to change it to “Fake silly crap” if they want to be honest. I could make this set on my printer. -Z is my grade.
