What’s Buzz-worthy: This discount bin box wasn’t as good as one delivered very, very well, but it’s proof that you can find hits in these boxes’ hobby packs. An autographed patch card of any player out of two packs is a win of sorts. Sure, it’s not a big name but I didn’t expect to hit the motherload ripping one of these boxes, let alone one of these in a discount bin. Had it been a veteran or Hall of Famer? Easy win. This one? It made a rip for fun a little more fun. The modern take on 1990 Donruss here is a quality one and I like how Donruss includes a meaty volume of inserts. Poke around here and you’ll be able to find a few more Donruss breaks from last year as well as this year.
