What’s Buzz-worthy: First, check out this hobby box break … we’ll wait. With that said, tearing into a blaster box of this one seemed like it would be fun but I forgot one detail — hits are found in every fourth box or so. That meant that my hitless box would be led by a single serial-numbered parallel and a Blue Absolute Rookie. This box was average at best with that Absolute rookie being a guy who had a hot start but ultimately was lost for the year to injury. After that, there wasn’t much to write home about here. (See that hobby box break above for highlights in the product and a deeper assessment.) I still think this is one of the more-interesting rips I’ve seen this year, but unless you pull a hit or one of the top-tier rookies here, this one is one better ripped at hobby.
