What’s buzz-worthy: Finest is back as a hobby release once again with a number of inclusions that add to its chromed legacy of autographs and inserts.

The Basics: Sitting Red inserts will spotlight MLB’s big sluggers, while a 10-card Finest Careers Diecut set will spotlight Cal Ripken Jr. with autos possible and the basic cards just two per case. … The basic set size was not revealed but it will have a number of parallels that will include Purple and Blue cards among its rainbow (details were not released). Finest Cornerstones will use the 1994-95 Cornerstones NBA design with a current MLB star — and these along with Sitting Red will have autograph parallels. … New for the autographs for 2018 will be Orange Wave Refractor autos (/25) along with other parallels (not disclosed), while Finest Firsts (rookies) and Finest Hour (key moments) autos will also be in play. … The Finest Careers cards will have Gold (/50) and 1/1 Superfractors also in the mix. Rounding things out will be Finest Originals autographed buybacks from past Finest releases.
