What’s buzz-worthy: Deep Space Nine returns for cardboard for the first time in nearly a decade with some new signers that include rock star Iggy Pop, who had a past cameo on the series, along with many of the notable cast members.

The Basics: Among the signers here will be regulars Avery Brooks, Michael Dorn, Terry Ferrell, Rene Auberjonois, Nana Visitor, Alexander Siddig, Armin Shimerman and Cirroc Lofton, while there will be dual-auto cards and then sigs from others that include Iggy Pop, Bill Mumy, Bernie Casey, Vanessa Williams, Steven Weber and Chase Masteron to name a few. … Sketch cards will be found one per case, while there will be 100 metal parallel cards, 36 Rules of Acquisition cards, original art cards, Deep Space Nine Aliens cards, Ships of Line cards, DVD cover cards, Relationships, “Niners” baseball patch cards, Archive Cut Comic Cards, pin cards and a display relic. There will be two case-toppers — heroes or villains — while there will be six-case dual-auto incentive card with autos from Terry Farrell (Jadzia Dax) and Nana Visitor (Kira Nerys), while a nine-caseer will be an Avery Brooks auto and Archive Boxes will be 18-case bonuses that include seven extra autos and a printing plate set. Among those autos will be cards for a Mirror Universe Nana Visitor, an Iggy Pop and variation autos for Mumy, Felecia Bell, Chase Masterson, Deborah Lacey and Andrew Robinson. … Boxes carry a suggested retail price of $99.99, while binders should be $24.99.
