What’s Buzz-worthy: This $35 Mega Box was found at Walmart and just like last year it guarantees one memorabilia card per and 10 Red & Yellow rookie parallels, which are also only found here. What may be a drawback with these? Each box I’ve opened so far (more than one) has been repetitive on the rookies and their parallels — see the gallery. This one didn’t really deliver on the names to have this repetitive trend work in my favor. At best, this feels like an average box and that didn’t make it a fun rip in this case, either. The volume of packs here is pretty good — 10 packs just like last year — and this is definitely a stronger rip than a standard blaster and similar to the Special Edition blasters (guaranteed hit, no parallels). If the collation is always repetitive — I’m 2-for-2 on that front, then you’ll have some boxes that are big winners and some that are not. I’m probably 1-for-2 in that regard.
