The Basics: Boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $100 and include two autos, two base cards, one parallel and one insert card in the rookie season for this product. There will be at least one on-card autograph per box in this limited release with Rookie Tickets taking on the Optic rainbow alongside inserts that will include Hall of Fame Contenders, MVP Contenders and Round Numbers — all with autograph potential. The basic rainbow will include Red, Blue, Gold and Gold Vinyl with no more than 199 copies for the easiest parallels. There also will be “some of the most iconic Contenders Rookie Tickets ever created, recreated with Contenders Tribute Autographs” that will be (/25) max. According to Panini, the “set recreates some of the best cards made in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001” — and you can figure out some of the notables from those years. Peyton Manning’s 1998 card revisited gets the visual nod here with the early info. … Rookie Ticket Autos will also get Optichromed with their own rainbow, while Rookie of the Year Contenders will have autos (/99 max).
