The Basics: A box will include a mix of 30 base cards from a 100-card set just like last year and five parallels in addition to the hits. There will be on-card autographs from more than 40 players in the set with parallels signed with black, blue, red and green ink. … Alumni Signatures will include past greats such as Frank Thomas, Alex Rodriguez and Barry Larkin, while there will once again be on-card ink from at least 15 notables who’ll be in the MLB Draft this year. … Chinese Taipei team members will have Silhouette Jersey Signatures with patch, logo and laundry tag parallels, while other MLB-draft eligible players from the U.S. squads will have game-worn jersey and patch cards. There will be Tools of the Trade cards with prime versions limited to 25 as well as jumbo memorabilia cards with prime parallels for promising draft prospects as well as former stars. Silhouettes will be back with Black Gold versions — both bats and patches — while the standard Silhouettes also will have prime versions. There also will be black, blue, red and green autos, too. … Boxes will once again carry a suggested retail price of $75 ($15 per pack).
