What’s Buzz-worthy: Consider this the second game of a weekend doubleheader for these Optic boxes. This $35 Mega Box was found at Walmart and just like last year it guarantees one memorabilia card per and 10 Red & Yellow rookie parallels, which are also only found here. What may be a drawback with these? Repetition on the rookies and their parallels — see the gallery. This box delivered very well on the base cards and included two of the biggest rookies this season, but didn’t dupe them up between the standard cards and parallels. Had that happened? Big-time, perfect-grade box. As it is, it’s still an A-. The volume of packs here is pretty good — 10 packs just like last year — and this is definitely a stronger rip than a standard blaster and similar to the Special Edition blasters (guaranteed hit, no parallels) if you want some volume and color. If you want guaranteed ink, rip some hobby.
