What: 2018 TRISTAR Hidden Treasures Platinum autographed baseballs
Arrives: Feb. 21
Box basics: One autographed baseball per box (12 boxes per case)
What’s buzz-worthy: TRISTAR’s autographed baseball chase brand is back for another season with a new batch of stars and legends along with some new specialty balls guaranteed per case that help add variety to the chase.
The biggest chase of them all this year? Keep reading for that and a gallery of what’s in this one.
The Basics: The Grand Treasure ball in this one is a Babe Ruth ball also signed by boxing legend Joe Louis as seen above and at right. Each 12-box case will include nine Hall of Famers, one superstar player not in Cooperstown, one 24-karat baseball and one inscribed “Idols” baseball where stars tell us who their idols are in an inscription. Oh, and they’re not just limited to baseball stars as one of the Idols signers is Tom Brady (You know, that football guy with all the rings.) Every ball will be limited to 36 or fewer copies on a product-specific hologram. … The Idols and Gold baseballs are all limited to no more than six copies, while the superstars are limited to no more than 12. … Among the stars teased as being in here are Carlos Correa, Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Alex Rodriguez, Reggie Jackson, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Sandy Koufax, Jeff Bagwell, Cal Ripken Jr., Ivan Rodriguez and Reggie Jackson.
