Emmitt Smith‘s memorabilia cards found in boxes of 2016 Panini Flawless football cards arriving today will include an added piece of authentication and information unique to his cards thanks to a new partnership between Panini and his company, PROVA Group.
Each card will have a SmarTag that will tell the owner what jersey the piece came from as part of a database linked to a smartphone app.

What’s buzz-worthy: Flawless is back with nothing but on-card autographs but some new cut autos, new memorabilia cards, new oldschool signers and new approaches with its gem cards that include multiple pieces.

We’ve not seen any formal information related about the upcoming 2016 Panini Flawless football card set from Panini America, but we know it’s coming thanks to the recently returned autographs teased by the company this week
The signer? Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell.

2013 Panini Beach Boys hobby box
This box is admittedly probably off the radar of many collectors but that doesn’t mean that it can’t deliver. In fact, these can deliver well if you pull the right ink. This Brian Wilson card here? It sold for more than you might think and he’s not alone when it comes to autos in there that have topped the $100 mark. Like the Panini Country release, there are non-traditional collectors chasing cards here to build sets or chase stuff they like with no regard for what something “should” cost based on what it is or its scarcity. Meanwhile, they may not know where to buy boxes — or not want to. Those things can lead to some surprising results — and that’s not the only surprise. Check out the price on this box.

We’ve all seen the outrageousness of the cleat cards that 2016 Panini Flawless soccer brings to the hobby, but now that it’s here we get to see some of the more standard results pulled from those shiny cases that have made their way onto eBay.
Panini America‘s 2016 Flawless soccer cards are coming soon — next week, actually — and one of the thing that will give more than a few deep-pocketed collectors some kicks will be the Studs found inside those silver briefcases.
You know, the game-used cleat cards.
We’re less than two weeks away from the arrival of 2016 Panini Flawess and its game-changing high-end potential being unleashed upon the hobby.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t yet get a sneak peek of what’s coming.
Panini America is busy readying those silver briefcases with baseball cards for the first time, and they’ll include 10 cards per box (or 20 total if you go the sealed case case route).
