NFLPA finalizes list of players at this year’s Rookie Premiere

This year’s NFLPA Rookie Premiere kicks off on Thursday with signings, photo sessions and more all planned to help you get NFL cards of the league’s newest stars in their new uniforms as soon as possible.

Besides the NFL’s exclusive card-maker, Panini America, the 40 players at the event also will work with other companies and sponsors — a roster that includes Fanatics, Fanatics Authentic, Nike, EA SPORTS, Pepsi and New Era among others — during the event that will run into the weekend.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for our players and partners to interact in an intimate setting,” said Ahmad Nassar, the president of NFL Players Inc. “For 23 years, NFLPA Rookie Premiere has been the foundation of players learning about the business and benefits of their union, as they begin their journey into the league. Putting their personalities and passions on display in front of the right brands, allows their stories to spread to a wider audience, while reinforcing what the NFLPA is about – benefitting the players.”

Most-important to collectors here? The NFLPA released the formal list of players expected to be at the event.
