What’s buzz-worthy: Topps’ third release for The Walking Dead picks up where its first left off with the sixth season of the long-running hit show documented on cardboard.
Topps’ first high-end brand for one of TV’s biggest shows is here and the 2016 Topps The Walking Dead Survival Box will pack plenty of ink alongside the gore of the long-running hit.
Top stars like Norman Reedus have signed on here and there will be autographs of Jeffrey Dean Morgan whose redemptions are inserted into boxes as bonus hits.
But they aren’t alone.

The 2016 Topps The Walking Dead Season 5 trading cards have arrived and there are two hits in every single hobby box with some of the big names in tow and others still to come in future releases.

Topps on Saturday released its newest online-only offering of cards for the hit TV show and it’s for a pair of “In Memoriam” cards for two characters who didn’t last past the newest episode.

What’s buzz-worthy: Topps’ Second The Walking Dead release is billed as a high-end brand with a hit in every pack (a five-card mini-box) that looks back at the first six seasons of the series.

Preacher debuted on Sunday night and the AMC series’ trading cards will apparently debut today from Topps as part of a pack program via the Topps Now platform.
The cards have not yet been revealed or put on sale today, but the structure for the program can be seen here. The company tweeted about the series on Sunday night, teasing a forthcoming announcement, which comes on the heels of its recent deal to acquire the trading card rights to another AMC staple, The Walking Dead, which also was based on a long-running comic.
The Walking Dead returns on Sunday with the midseason premiere and Entertainment Weekly is capitalizing on the demand for the hit show with six covers for all of the zombie-loving collectors to eat up.
There’s a twist though with how somebody can collect them all.
